North Orange County Pediatrics Has Closed
After more than 35 years of serving Orange County families, Dr. Bacha and Dr. Chiles have retired, and North Orange County Pediatrics has closed permanently. We have taken this step sooner than we wanted to, but the decision to close the office was necessary due to health reasons. Because we are unable to keep the office open, we have also honorably discharged our part-time physicians, Drs. Chung and Gill.
We will be happy to forward a copy of your medical records to the physician of your choice. Alternatively, you are welcome to request a copy of your medical records for yourself. Click here to download the closure notification and Records Release form for you to complete and return to the Custodian of Records by fax or mail. If you are unable to submit a request for records immediately, don’t worry!

We recommend you contact your Health Plan right away for guidance in finding a new physician. In some cases, your health plan can help you identify which physicians participate in the plan or accept your insurance. You can also contact the referral service at St. Jude Medical Center – (877-459-3627) or on their website at http://www.stjudemedicalcenter.org/Our-Doctors.aspx.
Lastly, we have a long-term relationship with Dr. Swapna Roy, whom we greatly respect and trust with the care of our patients. We have confidence in her ability to provide excellent care. We have discussed our situation with Dr. Roy, and she has graciously agreed to assist in ongoing care of patients who inquire about entering her practice. Please do consider contacting her office ((714) 879-2980, located at 220 Laguna Rd Suite 5, Fullerton CA 92835) to see if she works with your health plan, and if her practice is a good fit for your family.
Best wishes for your family’s good health and happiness.
Dan Chiles, MD, Charles Bacha, MD, and staff of North Orange County Pediatrics
